Home is a Memory is a collection of poems about grief and nostalgia from writer and collagist Zohra Hussain. It takes your hand and pulls you back to a time of innocence and bellies full of laughter and the warm promise of hope. It rummages through hurt to get to a past that has already forgotten. This is a confession, a place to put the grief of it all down. With themes of loss, childhood, and the quiet moments in between that have the potential to break us. At the crux of it, this book is about love, and what it means to be known, and how we learn to move through life in the absence of it.
